Oh my these summer months are going by too fast! I'm working away on weddings right now and am hoping to get some posts up about my incredible couples soon! In the meantime, here is my little cutie patootie enjoying her job as a model for my Lynden Dutch Bakery photo shoot for ice cream sandwiches! The perks of having a commercial food photographer for a mommy!
Did you know that aside from people I also shoot a bit of commercial work? One of my favorite commercial projects this year has been to photograph treats for the Lynden Dutch Bakery - which is one of my very favorite places to eat! And yes - after I'm done shooting these amazing desserts my family and clients get to enjoy them! Best job perk ever!
I had so much fun last week doing head shots for a local realtor, Lawless! It is so awesome to have the new studio space for shooting, especially on these dreary winter days. Hopefully spring comes soon - I think we are all ready for some sunshine and cheerful flowerbeds!
Thanks so much Lawless for letting me photograph your beautiful faces for your promotions!
Before little Paisley was born I had the opportunity to take some photographs of a gorgeous outdoor kitchen designed and built by Mark Palmer. The images were used in some print advertisements as well as on their great website, http://www.thinkoutsidethekitchen.com/. I had a great time precariously standing on a stool to take these photographs in my third trimester while Mark’s awesome wife stood nervously nearby ready to catch me if I fell. I wish I could entertain in this kitchen every night!
Check out this beautiful outdoor kitchen below and more of Mark’s great work at his website.
Logan is going to be famous! I always look forward to shooting my regular client Logan—he is absolutely adorable and has the cutest personality with the biggest blue yes. When his mom Jana contacted me about photographing him for billboards for Excel Pacific construction sites, I was thrilled with the opportunity. Little Logan was a perfect model and his mom and grandma went to great lengths to ensure we captured some smiles. I love the shots we got and I can’t wait to see them blown up big!
